Generation Gap

Generation Gap

Do you keep on complaining that your parents dont love you? Do you feel alone in the company of your parents? Or do you argue with your parents over trivial things? N if u do so then u are just like many other teenagers out there who have a feeling of disgust for their parents. Now the question arises that why do most of us feel so?? The simple and absolute answer to this question is the GENERATION GAP.

This generation gap is the discontinuity in the mentality of our parents and us. Or in more simpler words our parents and we think and act differently. But one again comes across the question that what could be the probable conditions behind this? The reason which i have found is the difference in the atmosphere in which we have grown up and in which our parents have grown up. Our parents were brought up in a conservative atmosphere while we live in an era of open mindidness. Lets take an example of marriages. Ofcoarse our parents being orthodox will favour arrange marriages bt the present generation will obviously like to choose our life partners on our own. And this is where the clash begins. On such kind of topics where our parents and we think differently the clash arises and we feel drawn away from our parents.Even our parents feel that they are being dragged away from us. Its correct that they do so much for us. But the moment they think that their children must  also be as conservative as them, this special relationship starts to break a little. As an example most of the parents force their children to become either doctor or engineer. They dont look forward towards the interests of their children. The relation is ought to grow worse because of this situation.

The relation between parents and their children is the most special one and this must be saved. And this could be saved only if both the parties try to understand each other. One step is to be taken by the parents and one step is to be taken by the child. N one by one everything can be brought to an optimum level of understanding. Then THIS WORLD WILL BE A BETTER PLACE TO LIVE IN.

KARMA - whatever you do to others, it happens to you again

KARMA - whatever you do to others, it happens to you again

Have you ever wondered that is there any kind of supernatural power existing in this nature? Of coarse, you must have wondered about this a thousand times. Belonging to a religion obsessed nation, we all are more inclined towards the teachings of our religious books. Being a Hindu I've been taught teachings of Bhagvad Gita. Since childhood i've been taught that whatever you do to others, it happens to you again. This is called KARMA.
KARMA actually means the deeds you do which return back to you after completing a full circle. If you do something good to someone, this goodness returns back to you either in direct manner or indirect manner. but similarly if you do something bad to someone, this badness comes back to you after you completing a full circle either in direct manner or indirect manner.
If you have siblings, you must have experienced this kind of situation. you must have fought over chocolates with you siblings. You must have grabbed that chocolate by hook or by crook. You must have felt really happy after conquering that chocolate. But some other day you must have lost that chocolate to you sibling. This karma of yours was returned back to you.
Another example we can take from the epic battle of MAHABHARATA.There was a rule in the battlefield that the battle will go on only if both the opponents have weapons. During the battle Karan killed Abhimanyu when Abhimanyu was unarmed breaking the most important rule of the battle. Karan did a bad Karma and this karma returned to him when Lord Krishna killed him when Karan himself was unarmed.
This is the reason why it is said that do good to others and god will do good to you. If someone does something wrong to you, just remember that god will start a new cycle of karma that will return back to that person. So always be careful before doing or speaking something as what you are doing right now will return to you again.
